The most fundamental element of founding the SAGAK is to propagate the issue of Kashmir on international level, and seek a peaceful and meaningful resolution of Kashmir which is equally acceptable by people of Kashmir, India and Pakistan.

SAKAG Mission Statement:

We are the progressive thinking people of south Africa and would like to see an end of 59 year old bloody conflict of Kashmir, through Peaceful trilateral or multilateral dialogues.

We envisage the great economical growth potential in the sub-continent region and it can only be achieved once the issue of Kashmir is peacefully settled.

We are equally committed to provide assistance to the United nation and its affiliated organs in the promotion and observance of the UDHR Universal Declaration of Human Rights and to work for fundamental freedoms and world peace, and to facilitate and co-ordinate the efforts of oppressed people, minorities, unrepresentative peoples and nations to gian access to International Law and its enforcement mechanism for the protection and promotion of their human rights.

SAKAG Aims and Objectives:

SAKAG is committed to the following,

1. To monitor and Reporting human rights violations in Kashmir.

2. To lobby the issue of Kashmir and its resolution in AU African Union.

3. Creating Public awareness

4. Seeking demilitarisation

5. Working for peace & peaceful settlement.

6.To establish a peace and stability that is acceptable to and by the people of Jummu and Kashmir.

7. Keep updating on the latest development in both Azad and India occupied Kashmir.

8.Rely month by month statistical report of murders, rapes, kidnaps, illegal state detentions and of other atrocities

9.Issue press releases and write articles on the issue of Kashmir.

10.Hold workshops and public seminar to propagate the issue of Kashmir.

11.Hold public rallies and Marches in protest as it become appropriate.

12.Raise funds to assist helpless Kashmiri people as the after myth of earth quake.

13.To mobilize recourses to make this organization stronger in order to assist people of Kashmir timeously.
